Charles S. Lester II

Baltimore, MD - Charles S. Lester, II passed away suddenly at his Baltimore residence in July of 2018.

Charles was born in Waverly, Virginia to the late Charles Lester and Barbara Kilmartin. Charles proudly served in the Air Force for 20 years with the 1st Combat Communications Squadron, where he honed his electrical skills as well as his marksmanship skills. He was a proud veteran who retired from the Air Force. Charles was an outdoor enthusiast, who enjoyed kayaking, fishing, Enduro racing, and playing softball with his 1st Combat Comm family. He was an accomplished photographer and a talented cook; Charles loved indulging in a gourmet meal. Charles had a soft spot for babies and animals, he enjoyed surprising both with gifts. Charles was a man of integrity and unwavering honor and will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

Charles is survived by his son Brian Lester (Jessie Stafford); and niece Ashley Ford Lester. He is preceded in death by brother James Lester.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 11th 2018, starting 11am, at Charles P. Arcaro Funeral Home, 2309 Lancaster Ave., Wilmington DE 19805. Funeral Service will begin at 12 noon. Burial will be held at a later date, at a Virginia Veterans Cemetery.
