CINDA HALLMAN Obituary

Cinda A. Hallman

After several months of failing health, Cinda passed away at her home in Boca Raton, FL, on December 24, 2007.

Over her long and distinguished career, Ms. Hallman had taken assignments related to computer applications in Oklahoma, Texas, Delaware and England. At the time of her passing, Ms. Hallman was a retired chief executive officer of Spherion Corporation, a provider of recruitment, outsourcing and technology solutions located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Before accepting a position at Spherion, she had a distinguished career at Dupont Corporation in Wilmington, rising to the position of Senior Vice President of Functioning Effectiveness and Global Services. Ms. Hallman had served on the boards of Toys "R" Us, Catalyst, United Way of America and Christiana Care Health Systems. She had also served as co-chair of the Delaware IT Initiative. Among her many honors, Ms. Hallman was recognized as Chief Information Officer of the Year by INFORMATION WEEK in 1995 and received the Distinguished Alumni Award at her alma mater, Southern Arkansas University, in 1999.

Ms. Hallman is survived by her twin sister, Linda Grantham of League City, TX and 1 niece and 1 nephew.

Her arrangements took pace in Boca Raton, FL.
