Age 87, of Bear, DE passed away peacefully on Friday September 25, 2009.
Jane retired from Wilmington Plastics. She also worked for many years at Delaware Park and Brandywine Raceway. Jane enjoyed spending time with her family and going to the Delaware Park Casino.
She was predeceased by her husband, Allen G. Spicer, her daughters, Edna E. Scott and Constance L. Spicer, and by her grandchildren, Steven L. Irwin and Heather Marie Spicer. Jane is survived by her children, Leslie A. Spicer and his wife Jane, George H. Spicer and his wife Jan, Dennis R. Spicer and his wife Cheryl, Brian R. Spicer and his wife Debbie, Anna M. Irwin and Terri L. Hallett and her husband Ivor. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great granddaughters.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the DOHERTY FUNERAL HOME, 3200 Limestone Road Pike Creek on Wednesday September 30, at 10:30am. Burial will be in the White Clay Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8pm.
