Age 99, of Rockwood Hills passed away April 7, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.

Grace was born in Italy on May 1, 1917. Her calling was caring for her family and she was an excellent homemaker. Grace enjoyed holiday gatherings and was known for her wonderful traditional and religious cooking. She had a particular fondness for spending her summers at the shore in Atlantic City.

Grace is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Morris Weintraub in 2009. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her daughter, Ruth Jarin; sister, Anita Muto; three grandchildren, Linda Jarin and Bruce Jarin of Wilmington, DE and Sandy Shortt (Lance) of West Chester, PA; great-grandchildren, Samantha Shortt (Stephen Syska) and Julian Shortt (Jen Trevithick); great-great-grandchildren, Madison and Jagger Syska; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank Luis and the rest of the staff at the Kutz Home for the wonderful care they provided Grace during the past 10 years. They would also like to thank Ladonna Reeves, Azalia Schultheis, and Dominique Deveaix from Compassionate Hospice Service.

Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Milton and Hattie Kutz Home, 704 River Road. Wilmington. DE 19809 or Adas Kodesch Shel Emeth Congregation, 4412 Washington Boulevard, Wilmington, DE 19802.
