Helen Elizabeth

(Betty) Fahey

Age 88, died Saturday, October 27, at the home of her niece, Jane Burrows, in Mercersburg, PA.

Betty was born and lived her entire life in the family residence on Hillendale Road in Kennett Square, PA. For most of her adult life she worked in the insurance business and for many years was employed by the F.H. Simonton Co. in Wilmington, DE. She was a member of Saint Patrick's Church in Kennett Square and also the Four Seasons garden club.

She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Mary Keating Fahey, and her sister, Marjorie Fahey Farquhar. She is survived by her niece, Jane Burrows and her husband, David, and her nephew, Gordon (Rick) Farquhar and his wife, Shirley. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Gordon Farquhar Sr., and a grand niece, Andrea Burrows, and a grand nephew, Ruhl Burrows.

There will be no visitation but church services will be held at St. Malachi Roman Catholic Church, 76 St. Malachi Rd., Cochranville, PA at 10 a,. on Friday, November 2. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Kennett Square, PA.

In her memory, a contribution may be made to a favorite animal shelter.
