Irene Trimble Ford, age 94, of Hockessin, DE, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Ware Presbyterian Home in Oxford, PA. She was the wife of the late Herman W. Ford who passed away in 2006 and with whom she shared 69 years of marriage.
Born in Hockessin, DE, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Elva E. Gregg Trimble.
She was a member of Landenberg Methodist Church for over 80 years. A homemaker, she enjoyed playing cards, travelling, canning and working with her husband on the family farm.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 10-11 AM on Monday, March 22, at Foulk & Grieco Funeral Home, 200 Rose Hill Road, West Grove, PA 19390. Her funeral service will follow at 11 AM. Interment, Hockessin Friends Cemetery, Hockessin, DE.
