Julie Harrison Keppel

AGE: 63 • Newark

Julie Harrison Keppel, 63, of Newark, Delaware died in Tavares, Florida on January 7, 2017. Julie was born to Philemon and Nancy Harrison on April 22, 1953 in Wilmington, Delaware. She was a graduate of Newark High School, class of 1971. She was proud of her involvement in JOB's Daughters and was a Past Honored Queen. She worked at Brunswick Blue Hen Lanes for 35 years where she was the most decorated Sales Manager in the company's history.

Julie was a beautiful soul who enriched the lives of all those she came in contact with throughout her wonderful years. She had the uncanny ability to make everyone she talked to feel extremely special. Julie wore many hats in the lives of the people she impacted; daughter, sister, mother, aunt, friend, but her favorite role in life was "Peppie." Not to just her own grand people, but to so many. Anyone who spent even a few moments with her was better for that time shared. Her spirit will continue on in the lives of all those she touched.

She was preceded in death by her father, Philemon I. Harrison, and her husband, Gordon Keppel Jr. She is survived by her mother, Nancy Jones, her sister, Alexis Salzano, her daughters Jessica Golembrosky & son-in-law Kurt Golembrosky and Amanda Keppel and partner Jules Phillips. She took great delight in, and is also survived by, her grandchildren Tyler and Derek Golembrosky & Dionn and Demetrius Stevenson. She also leaves behind special in-laws; Charlie Keppel & his wife Nancy, sisters-in-law, Barbara Bean and Jane Davis & her husband Don; brothers-in-law, Arthur B. Keppel & his wife Karen and John F. Keppel & his wife Cynthia. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews including, Lindsey Lavender, Andrew, Adam, Amanda, Mitchell, Nicholas, Victoria and Ryan Keppel, Colton and Chase Puckett, and Maggie Guillen.

Friends and Family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate the life of Julie Keppel on January 21, 2017 from 10am to 12 pm at St Paul's Lutheran Church, 701 South College Ave, Newark, DE.
