July 16, 1932-December 2, 2015 Tom Bazzoli passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 surrounded by his family.

Tom was born July 16, 1932 in Wilmington, DE to Lucian and Lilly Bazzoli. He spent part of his life on the grounds of Winterthur where his family lived until they moved to Elsmere. Tom graduated from A.I. DuPont High School and H. Fletcher Brown Vocational School. Tom served his country in the U.S. Army NATO Forces in Germany. Tom was employed at the DuPont Experimental Station as an electrician and electrical designer for over 40 years.

Tom continued to work after retirement running his own business, Electric by Bazzoli until June of 2015 when he became ill. Tom was also an active member of Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church where over the years he served as Deacon and Elder as well as chairman of the Home Committee. He also volunteered hundreds of hours for Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County.

Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Patricia Gibson Bazzoli, sons, Thomas (Nancy) of Beaver Creek, OH, Paul (Marie) of Wilmington, DE and daughter, Jana (Mel) of Cincinnati, OH. Pop-pop will be dearly missed by his seven grandchildren, Alicia, Ashley, Patrick, Luke Sarah, Josh and Liz. He is also survived by his brother, James Bazzoli (Frances) of Lewes, DE and his sister, Shirley Tennyson of Bethesda, MD and 2 nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate Tom's life will be held at Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church, 500 McKennan's Church Rd on Thursday, December 10 at 11 am with visitation starting at 9:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church and/or Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County.
