MARGARET MALCHIONE Obituary

Margaret Edith Biondi Malchione

Age 83 of Kennett Square, PA, died Saturday March 4, 2006 at the Manor Care Nursing home in Pike Creek, DE.

She was the wife of Rocco "RJ" Malchione with whom she shared 65 years of marriage.

Born in Devon, PA she was a daughter of the late John and Marie Bucci Biondi.

Margaret worked in the family mushroom business with her husband for many years and also St. Patrick's School. She was a member of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother in Avondale.

Survivors include in addition to her husband; 2 daughters, Rosemarie Marenco and her husband, Frederick of Avondale, Laraine Maddalozzo and her husband, Lorenzo of Kennett Square; 2 brothers, Paul Biondi of Kennett Square, John Biondi of Toughkenamon; 3 sisters, Edith Losito of Toughkenamon, Theresa Caligiuri of West Grove, Mary Mastrippolitto of West Grove; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren also survive. She was predeceased by 2 brothers; Fred Biondi and Joseph Biondi and a great grandson, Lukas Kevin Kremer.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 am on Thursday, March 9, 2006 at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Church 8910 Gap Newport Pike, (Rt 41) Avondale PA 19311. Friends and family are invited to her viewing from 6-8 pm Wednesday, March 8 at the KUZO & GRIECO FUNERAL HOME INC. (610-444-4116) 250 West State St. Kennett Square. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery.

Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Gabriel's Church PO Box 709 Avondale, PA 19311.
