Mason Scott Farro Obituary
Mason Scott Farro

AGE: 13 • Middletown

Heaven gained another angel on June 3, 2017, one who was young, and should not have left this earth so soon. Mason Scott Farro, 13, of Middletown, DE, was taken from us unexpectedly as a result of injuries sustained in a flat track racing accident.

Mason was strong, athletic, funny, outgoing and he left great comfort in every room he entered. His life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understand that the quality of this young man's life, far exceeds the quantity of time in which he lived.

He was born November 6, 2003, and is survived by his loving parents, Jeffrey and Anna Marie Farro and his sisters Julianna and Leah, both at home; maternal grandparents, Nicandro and Nicolina Rossi; paternal grandparent, Helen Farro; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other loving family and friends.

Mason was a determined, kind and remarkable 7th grader at Redding Middle School involved in many extracurricular activities. Wrestling, lacrosse, football, flat track racing, and other school activities were a huge part of his life and they brought him a great deal of joy. He was a compassionate, strong willed young man who was always ready to help anyone in need. Mason made such a positive impact on everyone he met. He was loved so deeply by many family and friends and will be forever missed in all their hearts.

Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6-9 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 371 E. Main St., Middletown, DE 19709. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, 12 Noon at the church. Interment will follow in Old Drawyer's Cemetery, Middletown, DE.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the Mason S. Farro Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank, 310 Dover Run Center Blvd., Middletown, DE 19709, Attn: Jermaine Hatton.
