Megan Moody Obituary
Middletown - Megan Michelle Moody, 29, of Middletown, DE went home to be with our Lord on June 30, 2018, sadly a victim of domestic violence.
Megan was very kind and compassionate towards others and had a very tender heart. She was an excellent CNA and was loved by many of her clients. Her death has left a deep void in many hearts and she will be forever missed.
Megan is survived by her little girl, Re'Nya whom she dearly loved and cherished; her parents Debbie Coleman (Jack) and Randy Moody (Joni); her siblings, Nadine Moody, Ryan Moody, Randy Moody, Bethany Cordero and Brandon Cordero; her grandparents, Ann Dodson-Collins, and Bill and Helen Moody. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 17th from 6-8 pm at the Townsend Free Will Baptist Church, 4519 DuPont Pkwy, Townsend, DE. The memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 18th at 10 am at the church. Interment will follow in Old Drawyers Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up for Megan's daughter. The family request donations be made payable to: Re'Nya Clark, Fulton Bank, 468 W. Main St., Middletown, DE 19709 att: Shawntay Thompson.

Megan, I will never forget the time we spent together. When we were both young, you offered to take me on a tour of the farm. About halfway through, you pulled over to show me a "secret"--blackberry bushes! When I asked if it was really okay to eat them, you just laughed and told me to have at it. It was rare I got to see you as we got older, but I will always treasure the time we spent together. I love you, cousin, and I miss you. I hope you're shining down on us all from among the stars.
