Michael Leonard Sensor, 46, of West Grove, PA, formerly of Erie, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 17, 2017. He was born in Erie on November 27, 1970, the son of Robert L. Sensor, Jr. and Linda Staebler Sensor.

Michael was a 1989 graduate of Cathedral Prep where he played tuba in the school's band. He graduated from Temple University in 1993 and the Duquesne University School of Law in 1996 where he earned a Juris Doctorate degree.

Michael practiced law in Wilmington, Delaware, for more than 20 years. He was Senior Counsel at Tybout, Redfearn & Pell in Wilmington. Michael was well beloved by all of his colleagues in Wilmington. He received Martindale-Hubbell's highest possible rating by his peers and the Delaware Judiciary, "AV Preeminent" in legal ability and ethical standards. Michael had an incredible and vast intelligence. He was referred to as the "brain trust" by his colleagues in the Delaware State Bar. He had an eclectic love of music, particularly Balkan music. He played many instruments, but loved playing the balalaika and pipe organ most. He loved to travel all over the country and the world, Iceland and the Republic of Georgia were two of his favorite places to travel, but the place he loved more than any other was his hometown of Erie. He had a passion for trains and traveled across the United States and Europe by train. He was an avid Civil War buff with a particular interest in the Battle of Gettysburg. He visited the battlefield as often as possible. He was a member of the Church of the Advent Episcopal Church in Kennett Square, PA.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Patricia Lynn Sensor; two daughters, Ketevan Sophia and Claramond Mary Wilde; two brothers, Joseph Lloyd Sensor (Rebecca) and Chad Anthony Sensor (Christy); and many aunts uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
