Ralph PRATOLA Obituary

Ralph Pratola, Sr. Age 81, of Avondale, PA passed away on Friday, March 5, 2004 at Jennersville Regional Hospital. Ralph was born in Madison, NJ to the late Michael and Grace (Esposito) Pratola. He was a WWII Veteran in the U.S. Army, and past president of Pratola Brothers Inc. He was a member of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Church, past officer of the Italian American Club and the American Mushroom Institute. He was an avid reader, gardener and fisherman, and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Ralph is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth (Fidanza) Patrola; his son, Ralph Pratola, Jr. and wife, Darlene of Avondale, PA; his daughter, Annette Pratola and husband, Stephen Mitchell of Hockessin, DE; 2 brothers, Michael Pratola and Fred Pratola both of Avondale, PA; 1 sister, Ann Kelleher of Avondale, PA; 2 grandsons, Matthew and Jeffrey Pratola. Along with his parents, a brother and sister preceded him in death. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ralph's Life Celebration from 9:30-11 am Tuesday, March 9, 2004 followed by his funeral mass at 11 am Tuesday at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Church, Rt. 41, PO Box 709, Avondale, PA 19311. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's Church Cemetery, Kennett Square, PA. Memorial contributions in Ralph's name may be made to St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Church Building Fund.
