AGE: 72 • Wilmington

Roger A. Earley passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 24, 2016 after a battle with Multiple Myeloma.

Roger was born on July 10, 1943. He was the son of the late Howard G. Earley (aka Jack) and Mildred A. (Glick) Earley of Quinter, Kansas. A biochemist for more than 30 years, he worked at Astra Zeneca in Wilmington, Delaware. Roger received his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Fort Hays State College. He was a passionate tinkerer and avid crafts person. Roger was a member of the Woodworkers Guild, the First State Woodturners Club, and an active participant at the Mid-County Senior Center.

In addition to his parents, Roger was predeceased by his daughter, Stephanie Madden.

Roger is survived by his companion, Mary Kay Sullivan; his sister, Jeannine Brown; his daughter, Michelle L. Dean, son-in-law, Mark Dean and grandsons, Matthew and William Dean; his son-in-law, Michael Madden and granddaughters, Bryanna and Falon Madden.

A viewing will be held on Friday, January 29 at 10:00AM, followed by funeral services at 11:00AM at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek, Wilmington, DE 19808. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery immediately following the services.
