Rose Ann Muscella Moore Obituary
Rose Ann Muscella Moore

Age 87, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on April 21, 2016 from complications of thyroid cancer at Regal Heights Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Hockessin, DE.

Rose Ann was born on January 19, 1929 in Chester, PA to Henry and Teresa Giampalmi and was the tenth of twelve children. She was a very hard-working woman who cherished and cared for her five children. As they grew older, she worked in the supermarket industry at several different markets as the produce manager. In later years, she worked as a babysitter and in elder care. She loved reading, listening to "good" music and dancing with her grandchildren.

She especially loved sharing her faith with her neighbors in the door-to-door ministry as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Sharing the good news of God's Kingdom brought her great joy and satisfaction. Even while residing at Regal Heights over the past year, she would strike up conversations about the Bible with the healthcare staff and the residents. People were amazed at her energy level despite her serious health issues.

Rose Ann is predeceased by her parents, ten siblings, her first husband (Fred Muscella) and her second husband (Aubrey Moore). She is survived by her brother Robert Giampalmi (Bonnie); five children, Adele Friedrich (Harry), Terry Moore (Chan), Fred Muscella, Jr. (Karen), Steve Muscella (Judy) and Kathy Fraze (Kevin); along with eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren - all of whom will miss her dearly.

The family would like to thank the staff at Regal Heights for their loving and compassionate care. Their attentiveness to Rose Ann and the other residents was astonishing.

A memorial service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1103 Milltown Road, Wilmington, DE 19808. Burial will be private.
