Roxanne M. (Confer) Robinson, age 66, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 24, 2016.

Born in Williamsport, PA on August 29, 1949, Roxanne was a daughter of the late William Confer and Laura Armstrong. In her earlier years, she worked in various administrative positions.

An excellent cook, Roxanne enjoyed baking and preparing delicious meals for her loved ones. She adored her family and friends and was happiest in their company.

In addition to her parents, Roxanne was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander "Buddy" Robinson who passed away on May 25th of this year; and son, Scott. She is survived by her daughters, Holly Wooters (Elwood) and Lisa Barrett (fiancé, James Bingham); sisters, Linda Chapman (Fred) and Betty Wyrick (Donald); sisters in Christ, Sharon Vickers and Blanche Foskey (Jerry); brothers, Dee Confer, Dean Armstrong (Penny), Dale Armstrong (Marian) and Eugene Armstrong; grandchildren, Kayla, Kristina, Genie, Kathryn, Kaleb, Douglas, Kyle, Sean and Ashley; great grandchildren, Kyle, Jr. and Brianna; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 9:30 am on Thursday morning, September 1, 2016, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a visitation will be held from 8:30 am until 9:30 am. Interment will follow in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society, Delaware Chapter, 200 Continental Dr., Suite 115, Newark, DE 19713.
