Ryan Andrew Call

Denver, CO

Ryan Andrew Call of Denver, CO passed away on May 9, 2017 after a 7 year battle with brain cancer.

He was the oldest of Lisa (Ackerman) Call and Robert Call's four sons. His 34 years were packed full of adventure, fun, friendships, family and love of life. Ryan graduated from Chatfield HS in 2001. He loved aviation and started flight instruction in his early teens. He attended Metro State University studying Aviation and Aerospace Science with hopes of a flying career when he became ill. Ryan cherished his years working for Remax Aviation-Phantom Air and his former coworkers were still great friends.

Ryan always had a soft spot for those less fortunate or in need of help. He once got his car towed while buying lunch for a person in need. You might find him along the highway helping someone change a flat tire. Upon learning he had cancer he began letting his hair grow for Locks of Love. He enjoyed his irreplaceable role as Uncle Ryan to his three nieces, Lyvia, Madilyn and Summer Call.

Along with his parents, Ryan is survived by three brothers, Michael of Daytona Beach, Florida, Steven of Littleton and Patrick of Aurora, CO. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Shirley Ackerman of Wilmington, Delaware, three aunts, Christine Eckrich (Michael) of Wilmington, Diane Pierce (David) of Wilmington, and Julie Stubbles (Bill) of Newark, Delaware and three uncles Donald (Deborah) of South Amboy, NJ, Kenneth of Milford, Delaware, and Scott (Kelly) of Richmond, VA and 29 cousins all living in the east.

A private celebration of Ryan's life for family and his close friends will be held on May 17th in Littleton, CO.

Donations in his name can be made to The National Brain Tumor Society.
