One of Smittys' favorite things to do was to sing Karaoke to Toby Keith's "I Love this Bar".

He and his wife, Lorraine, started the well-known Christmas light tradition at 1900 Prior Road in Wilmington - which has grown over the years with all family members participating. Smitty described the 700,000+ lights as being "so bright that his parents can see them from heaven." This Christmas, he'll see them by their side.
