In 1994 Bill joined Stone & Webster Engineering in Houston Texas as a Senior Engineering Consultant. Bill was a brilliant and respected Chemical Engineer with a contagious smile, and a relentless can-do attitude. An avid sports fan, he looked forward to cheering on the University of Delaware Women's Basketball team each season with his son Bill, Jr., and dear friends Tony and Debbie Gary, and Joe Patterson. He enjoyed photography, bicycle riding, and spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren whom he adored.

Wallendorf, Jr.; brother, Wayne Wallendorf; sisters, Margaret Ann Jackson and Jo Anne Parsons, aunt, Rose Marie Hall (Austin); former wife and mother of his children, Linda J.
