AGE: 88 • Millsboro
Betty Jane Ware, 88, of Millsboro, passed away on Wed., Nov. 6, 2013.
Mrs. Ware was born in Millsboro, on May 3, 1925 to the late Frank W. and Margaret B. Rogers Cordrey. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Harry T. Ware, Jr., and a daughter Carol L. Timbs.
Betty retired from the Cape Henlopen School District as a Cafeteria Manager.
She was a member of Zoar U.M. Church, Red Hatters, Milton Century Club, and she was also a Bridge Club enthusiast for 50 years. Betty was devoted to her family and loved her grandchildren dearly.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Holloway and her husband Ron; a son, Dennis Carmean,step-son, Harry White and his wife Carolyn; a step-daughter, Joyce Hume, brothers, Robert Cordrey and his wife Annette, Gerald Cordrey and his wife Carol, Donald Cordrey and his wife Elizabeth; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 11, 2013 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St. Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends may call after 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Millsboro Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to Zoar United Methodist Church, c/o Carissa Pepper, 24491 Gravel Hill Rd, Millsboro, DE 19966.

I well remember Betty. I would stop in for lunch, many, many times when working for The Delaware State Department of Education. She would always provide a plate of delicious food or prepare a sandwich for me, when I was on a timeline. God bless her Family.
