Paul "Randy" Inglis, Sr. age 54 of North East, MD formerly of Hampton, NH passed away on July 15, 2014 in Avalon, NJ while participating in one of his greatest joys in life, riding his bike.

Randy attended Winnacunnet High School in Hampton, NH. He graduated from Wilmington University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.

Upon graduating, Randy worked at Community Interactions, Inc. For the next 13 years, he continued working in human services at Elwyn Institute and Maximus Inc. In 2007, Randy began working as the Northeast Regional Coordinator for USA Cycling and, in 2010, Randy served as the general manager of TBB Cyclery in Wilmington, DE.

Family meant everything to Randy. He was a devoted and loving father and husband, as well as a cherished brother, uncle and friend. He made a positive impact on those who had the privilege to meet him and will be immensely missed by all who knew him.

Randy was committed to further cycling in the community, encouraging all to participate in the sport. Randy was a central figure in both the competitive and social cycling scenes. His passion for cycling knew no bounds. He served as race director for numerous cycling events, formed various cycling teams, organized several rides including the Tuesday night training series and served as a board member of several cycling associations.

He is survived by his spouse Sheila Sullivan-Inglis and children PJ and Ethan Inglis, of North East, MD his daughter Aynsley Inglis of Wilmington, DE, 6 older brothers, Bruce, Michael, Kevin, Wayne, Peter and Jeffrey Inglis as well as many nieces and nephews throughout the New England area.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014 at the CHANDLER FUNERAL HOME, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington from 4:30 to 7:00 PM with a Celebration of Randy's life beginning at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ethan and Paul Inglis Jr. Education Fund, Sun East FCU, PO Box 2231, Aston, PA 19014.

There will be a ride dedicated in Randy's memory on Tuesday July 22 at 5:30pm starting in the Toscana Restaurant parking lot. All are welcome.

I was saddened to hear about the loss of Randy Inglis I know he will truly missed. Randy was one of supervisor's at Maximus in New Castle Delaware. The family I am so sorry for your loss will be praying for you that God will prevail and bless you doing this trying time.

Randy we only met briefly so I doubt you'd remember me if our situations were reversed. I did , however , want to honor your contributions to the sport we both love. The peloton will be slower without you.
