A jewel ; As a person, lawyer, DA, Judge no one who knew Bill ever said a negative word about him. A just man is gone.

He was a true pleasure to know as a friend, both as a Judge and personally. He was the first person to knock on my door as a new house owner in Havertown when he was running for Common Pleas Judge the first time. He was hot and tired and I gave him a cold bottle of water.

I will miss his smile!

A true gentleman of the Bench, the Bar; he leaves behind a legacy of fairness, good common sense, quiet humor and a commitment to being involved and giving back to his community. He will be greatly missed and my prayers and thoughts are with his family and many friends.
