1948-2015 Francis “Frank” Olivo, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather died peacefully on Thursday, April, 30 2015 at the age of 66. Frank is survived by his loving wife, Rosalie, son Frank (Denise), daughter Victoria (Uriah), and three grandchildren, Paul, Gabriella, and Ava. Frank was born in Philadelphia and graduated from Bishop Newman High School. Frank worked as a barber in Delaware County and helped open Atlantic City’s first casino as a dealer and casino host. As an avid and loyal Philadelphia sports fan, Frank cherished his place in Philadelphia sports history as the infamous Santa Claus during the snowball incident at Franklin Field in December,1968. A master story teller, Frank loved to share his personal experiences and limitless sense of humor, always lifting the spirits of his family and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday, May 8, at Saint Joseph Church, 500 Woodland Avenue, Collingdale at 10:30 a.m. Visitation Friday morning 9:30 to 10:30 in the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Make-A-Wish Foundation.
