1957-2017 Robert D. “Bob” Robertson, 60, of Ridley Park passed peacefully on November 25, 2017 at Crozer Chester Medical Center with family by his side. Born in Philadelphia, he is the son of Donald R. and Barbara A. Messina Robertson and resided in Woodlyn before moving to his late residence 29 years ago. He was a Senior Electrical Engineer Designer for GSA Consulting Engineering. Bob was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1975 and Penn State University with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He was a very active member of Ridley Park United Methodist Church, the Norwood II Bowling Team, Peace Council Knights of Columbus, 3rd Degree, Penn State Alumni and the Professional Society of Engineers. Bob enjoyed collecting comic books, writing short stories, drawing and sketching, crossword puzzles and loved trips to the beach with his family. Bob was the loving husband of Cindy Wise Robertson, his wife of 36 years, devoted father of Tiffany R. Wright (Jamison) and Ashley N. Robertson, cherished grandfather to Savannah Willow Wright; son of Donald R. and Barbara A. Messina Robertson and brother of Barbara A. Swantek (Bob). Funeral Service 11:00AM Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Ridley Park U.M. Church, 501 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078 where friends may call 9:00 to 10:30AM. So Sorry to hear about Bob. I grew up with him and his sister Barbara Ann. Spent many a summer day playing pinochile and swimming in their back yard. Bob taught me alot about football too as we would watch the Eagles. Prayers and thoughts to the family. Charlotte Ward Christ.
