Beulah L. Core
Salisbury—Beulah L. Core, 90, of Salisbury, MD went home to be with her Lord and Savior on the morning of Sunday, November 11, 2012 with her family by her side. She was born in Pocomoke, MD, daughter of the late Elwood E. Beauchamp and Ida Mae Burke Beauchamp.
She retired from the Salisbury Shirt Factory in 1984. She was a faithful member of the Church of God of Prophecy on Tilghman Road in Salisbury. She enjoyed crocheting, camping, and spending time with her family. She was the loving mother, grand-mother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was affectionately referred to as Mom, Mom-mom, and Nanny.
She is survived by 3 children, daughter, Virginia Day and her husband, Sam with whom Beulah lived, daughter, Patricia Perdue Beauchamp, son, J. Dean Core and wife, Janet; 8 grandchildren, J.D., David, Steve, Carolyn, Tammy, Jenny, Robin, and Brice; 11 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert L. Core, Jr., 3 sisters, Lillian Foskey, Margie Brombley, and Betty Mae Williams Melton; and 5 brothers, James, Richard, Dick, Norwood, and Merle Beauchamp.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Holloway Funeral Home. A visitation will be held 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Holloway Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Springhill Memory Gardens.
Donations may be made in her memory to Church of God of Prophecy, 208 Tilghman Rd., Salisbury, MD 21804.
