Eugene Richard Bailey
PRINCESS ANNE — Eugene Richard Bailey, 81, of Princess Anne died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of the late Eugene Roscoe Bailey and Elizabeth Davis Howett.
He was a U.S .Navy veteran and owned and operated Clean Sweep Chimney Sweep. He previously worked for NASA at Wallops Island and at Frontier Town Western Theme Park in the role of "Doc" Holiday.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Lynn Tarr Bailey; three daughters, Toni Lea Cappetta of Florida, Dawn Bailey Hall Costen and her husband, Donald, of Salisbury, and Starr Lynn Robinson and her husband, John, of Girdletree; a son, Gino R. Bailey II and his wife, Susan, of Salisbury; one stepdaughter, Stephanie Larmore of Salisbury; six grandchildren; four brothers, Alan Bailey and his wife, Carolyn, of Pennsylvania, Robert Bailey and his wife, Janice, of Salisbury, Don Bailey and his wife, Alice, of Salisbury and James Sheldrake of Florida; and two sisters, Janet Scott and her husband, Charles, of Salisbury and Joanne Norden and her husband, Bill, of Florida.
A memorial service with military honors will be held Monday, Jan. 7, at 4 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church in Salisbury with a visitation one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Thomas W. Hurley will officiate. Interment will be private at the Eastern Shore Maryland Veterans Cemetery near Hurlock.
Contributions may be made in his memory to the Activities Department of the Aurora Senior Living Center at Manokin Manor, 11974 Edgehill Terrace, Princess Anne, Md. 21853.

Pop Bailey will be missed, but many fond memories of him. A kind man with always a smile on his face and hug for everyone. All of this reflects in his family. Love you all!
