Gladys V. Landon

Pocomoke City —Gladys V. Mariner Landon known as "Ginger" passed away Friday November 30, 2012 at Atlantic General Hospital. She was born at PRMC Hospital on June 5, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Jessie and Mary Mariner.

She is survived by Virginia Chandler Sprinkle, Robert Lee Mariner and James W. Mariner, nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Goodwill Baptist Church and the Lower Eastern Shore Moose Lodge.

Ginger was preceded in death by her daughter Mandy Mariner, sisters Joanne Howe and Aline Wharton, brothers, Jessie W. Mariner, Jr. and Howard Lee Mariner, Known as "Buck".

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 8, 2012, 1pm at Goodwill Baptist Church Pocomoke City, MD.

All services are entrusted to Bennie Smith Funeral Home- Salisbury.

Wow, another one gone from my youth. Ginger was like a big sister to me, especially when I was that young girl dating her baby brother Buck. The times that we had way back then. Buck is waiting for you Ginger, give him a big hug for me.
