Earl Bunting

Earl Charles Bunting, Sr.

Hebron-Earl Charles Bunting, Sr., 84, of Hebron, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he was the son of the late Frank Bunting and Dorothy Seeger Bunting Keller.

Earl was a US Navy veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired truck driver for Natpac, Inc. He and his wife were members of the "Dorchester Swingers' square dancing club and the Snethen United Methodist Church. He loved to fish and was a model train enthusiast. Earl was a devoted family man, always putting them first.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Virginia Louise Lowman Bunting; 3 children, Earl Charles Bunting, Jr. and wife, Colette of Washington, NJ, Raymond Lee Bunting and wife, Patricia of Salisbury and Donna Jeanne Gialanella and husband, Ron of Towns River, NJ; 4 grandchildren, Cheryl, Leia, Scott and Nicole; 4 great grandchildren; 4 brothers, Richard Bunting of Las Vegas, NV, Frank Bunting and wife, Theresa of Annadale, NJ, Ronald Bunting and wife, Mary of Elizabeth, NJ and George Bunting and wife, Judy of Corpus Christi, TX; and a sister, Bernice O'Brien and husband, Daniel of Spotswood, NJ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Horace Bunting.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 9, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment with military honors will follow at Wicomico Memorial Park. Rev. Donna Hinkle will officiate, assisted by David Mister.
