Frank Lewis Jr.

Parsonsburg-Frank Lewis Jr., 65, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born on Sept. 11, 1948, in Berlin, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary Hearn-Lewis.

Frank served in Vietnam and was a lance corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps. Frank was a lifetime member of Powellville VFW. He worked for 35 years in the HVAC trade. Frank retired in 2012 to enjoy hunting with his two sons and grandson. During retirement Frank loved going to Dayton's for breakfast. Frank always enjoyed spending time with people.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Mary Lewis; two sons, Tommy Lewis and his fiancée, Tracy Trice of Parsonsburg, and Brian and Bobbi Jo Lewis of Parsonsburg. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Megan Moore, Matt Lewis, Matthew Donaway and RJ Lewis; and two great-grandchildren, Hayden Lewis and Kennedy Lewis; brothers, Eddie Lewis and Barbara, Jimmy Lewis and Dee, Lawrence Lewis and Gail; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister; Lillian Maykot; and three brothers, Paul Lewis and Louis Elliott and Franklin Elliott.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 23, at 11 a.m. at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Lewis Cemetery in Willards.
