Irvin "Jack" Jones

Whaleyville - Irvin "Jack" Jones, age 82, of Berlin died Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin. He was born in Whaleyville and was the son of the late Harris C. and Elizabeth (Jarman) Jones.

He was a member of the U.S. Trotting Association and the Delmarva Coon Hunters Association.

He is survived by four daughters: Jacqueline Jones of FL, Kelly Sadler and husband, Raleigh of Whaleyville, Samanatha Truitt and husband Bryan of Whaleyville and Nicole Tanner of Berlin; one brother, Dennis L. Jones of Tilghman Island, MD; one sister, Sandra Denson of Millsboro; four grandchildren, Chris Dixon, Bobbi Thatcher, BJ Truitt, and Raven Jones; six great-grandchildren, Jadyn George, Brody Bluestone, BT Truitt, Colt Kling, Cali Dixon and Luke Dixon.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne Haddaway Jones, a son, Danny Dixon and a brother, Orville H. Jones.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Friday, February 19 at Dale Cemetery in Whaleyville with Rev. Terry Fort officiating. Masks and social distancing will be required.
