Chincoteague Island, VA - Joseph John Milyko, 60, of Chincoteague Island, VA passed away on May 13, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in "Da Bronx", NY on December 16, 1957 to Joseph "Bud" and Patricia (Davis) Milyko.

He was a member of Chincoteague Auxiliary Coast Guard, Chincoteague Church of God, Operating Engineers Local 25 Union, and NOAAWIVA Sportsman, Inc.

Joseph is survived by his loving spouse of 15 years, Barbara Milyko of Chincoteague Island, VA; daughter, Erica Ann Lamay and her husband Shane of New Fairfield, CT; two sons, Joseph Thomas Milyko and his wife Ruby of Chincoteague Island, VA, Louis William Milyko of Chincoteague Island, VA; two step daughters, Harley Rose Kolinsky of Columbia, MD, Jessey Kolinsky of Richmond, VA; four grandchildren, Dominic Joseph Lamay, Ayden Louis Lamay and Stella Ann Lamay all of New Fairfield, CT, Ryan Joseph Milyko of Chincoteague Island, VA; mother, Patricia Davis Milyko of Ocoee, FL; three sisters, Debbie Milyko of Ocoee, FL, Laura Camacho and her husband Don Green of Deltona, FL, Ellen Ulliana and her husband Robert of Osteen, FL; three sister-in-laws, Lynne Ann Ballerini and her husband Ken of Chincoteague Island, VA, Linda Booth-Kirsch and her spouse Elaine of Suffern, NY, Donna Fumoso and her husband Olafur Thordarson of New York, NY; Father-in-law, Mario Fumoso and his mother-in-law Phyllis Fumoso both of Chincoteague Island, VA; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph John "Bud" Milyko, Sr..

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018, 11:00 am at the Salyer Funeral Home, Inc., Chincoteague Island, VA with Pastor Kevin Stanley, officiating.
