Laurel, DE - Joseph "Joe" Anthony Marks Jr. passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 13th, 2018 in Bridgeville, DE at the age of 30.

Joseph was born on March 11th, 1988 in Annapolis, MD to Darlene and Joseph Marks Sr. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Pauline and Sherman Mason of Edgewater; his sister and brother-in-law, Brittany and Darren Capizzi; nieces, Leyna, Maisey, Arianna, Bailey, Capri; and nephews, Dexter and Dimitri. He is also survived by his extended family, Timmy Williams, Jeffrey "JB" Burnett, Tiffany Curry, Casey Curry, Joshua & Caleb Beharry-Curry and Raegan & McKenna Burnett.

After moving to Laurel, DE he began working for Millsboro Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram as a sales professional. Joseph had a passion for people and worked extremely hard to leave a smile on everyone's face.

Joseph was a generous individual who loved fishing, sticking his feet in the sand, finding the hottest hot sauce and rooting for his favorite sports teams. He was extremely passionate about his family and friends and taking any opportunity to create new memories with them. Joseph was also an active member of the American Legion Post 19.

Joseph touched the lives of many individuals through his infectious smile and abundant laughter. His love for animals, including his best friend, Abby, who preceded Joseph in death was nothing short of unconditional and never-ending.

All are welcome to attend and celebrate Joseph's life on Sunday, May 20 from 11 am until his memorial service begins at 2 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD.
