Josiah Jalon Everett

Berlin—Josiah Jalon Everett, stillborn, died Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of John H. Everett III and LaToya N. Purnell, both of Berlin.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by: paternal grandparents, Renee Tate of Virginia Beach, VA and John H. Everett, Jr. of Salisbury; maternal grandparents, Brenda Briddell and Gerald Purnell, Sr., both of Berlin; paternal great-grandmother, Ellen Tate of Berlin; maternal great-grandmother, Edna Poulson of Berlin; godparents, LaToya L. Purnell of Snow Hill, Quintin Dennis, Jr. of Selbyville, DE and Dorian Purnell of Berlin; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held Friday at 12 PM at Tyree A.M.E. Church in Berlin. Rev. Lyonell Purnell, Sr. will officiate. Interment will be in Curtis United Methodist Church Cemetery in Bishopville.
