Linda Mae Joyner

Crisfield - Linda Mae Joyner, 64, of Crisfield, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

Born in Detroit, MI on January 12, 1954, she was the daughter of the late William Luther and Vera Mae Ladd Davis.

A graduate of Crisfield High School Class of 1972, she worked at Captain's Carry Out for 20 years as a cook and was a member of Living Hope Ministries of the Eastern Shore.

She enjoyed traveling and playing solitaire on the computer. She was very family oriented and always loved to surround herself with them.

She is survived by her husband, Rommel Joyner, Sr. of Crisfield; son, Rommel "R.J." Joyner, Jr. and wife Lee Ann of Princess Anne; brother, Sam Davis and wife Mary Frances of Crisfield; grandson, Dustin Joyner and wife Brandi of Crisfield; great-grandchildren, Maya Lynn Joyner and Wyatt Owen Joyner; sister-in-law, Annalee Davis of Birchwood, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Rachel Lynn Joyner who died in 1976; a special aunt who was like a mother to her, Rachel Nelson; a brother, William R. Davis; a granddaughter, Andrea Nichole Joyner; and two twin great-grandchildren, Laya and Braydon Joyner.

Funeral services officiated by Rev. LeBron Palmer will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 2 PM at Living Hope Ministries of the Eastern Shore in Marion. A viewing will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 7-9 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
