Every weekday morning I bent over backwards to listen to Rush at 9:00.
There is such a void now, he is not there to answer questions and/or discuss any events since his last broadcast. No one can ever replace him and I am devastated he has left us.

I started listening to Rush in 1992 in Mukilteo, Wa, after getting out of the US Navy at 22. Rush became a part of my day, and I felt like I've lost a big brother. I cannot tell you how much I and millions of others will miss our beloved, Maha Rushie. Everyone has a favorite episode, and I can tell you mine... Around 1993 or 1994 coming from Wisconsin back to Washington on I-90 a caller was on with Rush and asking him to do her favorite impersonations, Jackson, Jefferies, Sasser, etc., and I guarantee you he made his entire audience laugh out loud. He was so humble and reluctant to do all, but he did them anyway because she asked. I would love to hear that episode again. He had a contest a year of so back, and I sent him some pictures of my family to him, telling him about my mom and dad's unique story about coming to the USA in the early '50s escaping communism in Hungary and Germany, respectively. It has made me into the American I am today. He must have been touched, because one of the staffers reached out to me, and then sent me a T shirt. I never got the chance to win the 1-800-282-2882 "lottery" and believe me I tried, and throughout the years I felt Rush, and we, the audience grew old together, and we all shared triumph and tragedy as a family. I will never forget the end of the broadcast last year, when he told the world about his diagnosis. It brought back the memories of my mom, who passed from the same disease in 2003, so I knew to cherish every moment. I am so broken hearted for Kathryn, and David, have prayed for Rush, and you all for God's grace. May the good Lord Jesus Christ accept his newest anchorman into His Kingdom. Conservatism has lost THE Greatest voice it could ever have had. I will miss you brother Rush....

What a delight it was to turn on the radio every chance I could get to list to Mr. Limbaugh over the last 30 years. His humor, acumen, charm, common sense, and wit were a refreshing balm amidst life's challenges. My heart was broken when I read the news of his return to God as I had missed that day's broadcast. For days I couldn't understand why his death pained me so much until someone pointed out to me when hearing someone for all those years we begin to think of them as friends. So true. Many prayers and blessing to Kathryn, Bo Snerdley, and the entire Limbaugh family, both biological and adopted throughout the radio waves. Thank you for continuing the EIB network. I didn't realize how much I loved and respected Rush until I turned the radio on and his wonderful wife was breaking the news to us. I haven't cried over a famous person dying since Elvis. He was so influential, funny and loving. RIP Rush. I'll get to meet you one day.

I’ve listened to Rush since the early ‘90’s. He was our voice. I learned so much from him. My sincere condolences to Kathryn and the rest of Rush’s family. Heaven is even brighter with Rush there today.

We’ve been with Rush since Sacramento and his exit leaves a huge hole in our lives and in our hearts. Thanks to the Limbaugh family for sharing him with us all these years. The current flash-backs on the EIB help with our withdrawal symptoms but we miss him now and always will. We love you Rush Limbaugh!

I listened to Rush from the beginning of his show. I always looked forward to his humor and commentary. I didn't always agree with him, but I always knew what was important to pay attention to that was going on in the world. I was so amazed at his ability to keep on top of everything and do the show for the last year when he had to be exhausted and hurting. He cannot be replaced and I miss him daily.

i started watching Rush in the 80's and would record his shows as they were on late at night. I just want to thank Rush for what he brought to the table of this nation. He give us understanding and encouragement and hope when we just couldn't see through the mire of mess. Rush was my constant radio companion for almost 20 years. He infuriated some but to me one of his lasting gifts was to make you think critically about yourself, your life and your country. There were many things I didn't agree with him upon, but that did not diminish his ability to discuss an issue and present a side in a respectful manner. As a person he reminded me of the "Gruff Uncle", the one that has a heart of gold but if you dont get to know him it was your loss. He was generous with his time, talent and money to many worthy causes and I will miss him. I will never be able to listen to Mannheim Steamroller Christmas music again without remembering the stories he would tell of listening to that music while on the way to see his father. That will always stick with me. I catch myself over explaining things to people I know and following it up with the phrase "for those of you in Rio Linda". He lived a great life and I am a richer person for it. He helped me appreciate fine cigars, the love of a good pet and the importance of a strong life partner. God Bless him, his wife and all who worked closely with him. Your grief is felt in my heart as well as his absence.

I'll miss you, we lost an amazing man.

You will be missed by me and my family. Although I never met you I feel that I lost someone very near and dear to me. May you Rest In Peace with our Lord.

I can't imagine the pain Rush's wife Kathryn, brother David, and rest of family must feel at his passing. She may find consolation in knowing that millions of people likewise will miss Rush everyday for the rest of their lives. I began listening in 1991 during Operation Desert Storm in Iraq; as an outside sales rep for AT&T every day he was my companion in my car as I did my job. He brought me countless hours of joy through his humor and inspiration and comfort through his thoughts. Like millions I wanted to. know "what Rush has to say" about daily events. He was my daily friend and mentor, even though he never knew how much. I loved him. I always thought I would call in but my busy life got in the way. I wanted to send him THE AGENDA video set so he could use it to further warn America about liberalism and I certainly wanted to send him well wishes and express my gratitude for him. But he sounded so good on the radio the week before he passed, and I delayed. Please let this be some small tribute to this great American Patriot who voiced conservative principles in a fun, entertaining way . America and the Founding Fathers are proud of their son. There will never be another Rush but rest assured he has generated millions of mini-Rushes to speak and lead everyday in their own lives. While our great country needs Rush more than ever now, God had other plans for his good and faithful servant, the Purveyor of Truth, Doctor of Democracy, and Mayor of Realsville. We all now have to pick up the mantel for God, our country, our families, and our Rush! We love you, Limbaugh Family.

I’ve listened to rush at 11 am to 2 pm almost everyday forever! He taught me so much. No one will ever replace him but I know that he has inspired new conservative voices! He made me laugh! His impersonations were hilarious. He will be missed by many!

I use to ride with my mom as a teen doing parameds for insurance companies with my mom, who i lost on Christmas eve 2yrs ago, and we listened and learned from you. I use to watch the tv show everynight and it shaped my life in a very positive way. Now we have lost you and John Walton, my 2 favorite radio personality. It is a void that cannot be refilled.
