Russell Perdue, Sr.

Laurel - Russell H Perdue, Sr. age 81, of Laurel, Delaware passed away on February 8, 2021 at Tidal Health Nanticoke in Seaford. Russell was born in Parsonsburg, MD a son of the late Chester and Catherine Perdue. He retired from GM Sales as an installer. Russell loved the outdoors, hunting and working in the garden. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church and attended Bethel Worship Center. He was also a member of the Sports and Beagle Club in Laurel, DE. Russell is survived by his loving wife Sandra Perdue of Laurel. His sons Russell Perdue, Jr. of Willards, MD and Scott Perdue of Georgia. His daughters, Susan Perdue of Laurel, Tammy Bolen of Laurel, Tanya Perdue of Georgetown and Tracey Perdue of Laurel. 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also survive him, along with many other family members. A walk thru viewing will be held on Tuesday February 16, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, and 700 West Street, Laurel, DE 19956. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, the Pastor Joe LeCates and Pastor Mark Phillips will officiate. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing will be required. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Laurel.
