She often prepared and delivered home cooked meals to elderly friends or someone recovering from an illness. Lancaster, PA was one of her favorite places to visit. She loved the shops, antiques, quilts, scenery, food, and memories made there. She was spunky, generous, humble, and kind. She knew how to work hard and laugh harder. Nadine especially loved spending time with children, she loved her grandchildren and every child she ever met. She was a loving mother and grandmother to many.

She is survived by her son, William Weldon Cavey and his wife, Chrissy of Salisbury; her grandchildren, Alexis and Anna; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and sisters in law.
