Manuel "Manny" A. Milo Jr., 50, entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM. Manny was born on March 28, 1963 to Manuel F. Milo Sr., and Elena Aguirre in Deming, NM. Manny was a Member of St. Ann Catholic Church and he loved spending time with his loving family and friends listening to his favorite type of music which was the Oldies and having cookouts and going fishing. Manny is survived by his parents; his wife, Carol Milo; four sons, Johnny Ray Milo and wife Lupe, Brian Milo, Christopher Milo and Michael Milo all from Deming, NM; one daughter, Cari Villegas and her husband Ever also from Deming, NM; one brother, Armando Milo and his wife Christina; two sisters, Olga Tapia and her husband Tony and Cristina Milo; eight grandchildren, Isaac, Johnny Ray, Yuria, Jocelyn Milo, Jermiah, Meliah Pena, Ever Jr. and Evelyn Villegas; five nephews, Tony and his wife Liz Tapia, Daniel and his wife Brianda, Adam and his wife Daisy Tapia, Orlando and his wife Monica Almanza and Armando G. Milo; three nieces, Cynthia Almanza; Crystal and her husband Ryan Gonzales and Denise Milo; seven great-nephews, Ezell and Isaiah Tapia, Lorenzo, Xavier, Angel Almanza, Alex Almanza and Melici Perez and one great-niece, Madelyn Tapia. Manuel is preceded in death by one niece, Melissa Almanza who will be celebrating her 16th anniversary on Friday, December 6th 2013. Viewing will be from 3 to 5 pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels on Friday, December 6th, 2013. Prayer Vigil is schedule for Friday, December 6th, 2013 at 7 pm at St. Ann Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be on Saturday December 7th, 2013 at 12:30 pm at St. Ann Catholic Church with Father, Enrique Lopez Escalera officiating. Concluding services with an interment will be at Mountain View cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be, Johnny Ray Milo, Michael Milo, Tony Tapia Jr., Daniel Tapia, Adam Tapia and Ever Villegas. My condolences to the Milo family. I grew up with Manny as a childhood friend. I will always remember his laughter and sense of humor. He was always happy and smiling. I am blessed having known him .
