Hugh Tolman Obituary
Dee, as he was fondly known, was born on Dec. 28, 1955 to Hugh and Louise Tolman. Dee attended and graduated high school with the DHS Class of 1974 and he then became a longtime businessman and owner of Deming Radiator Service. He also was actively involved in the community, especially with the Southwestern New Mexico State Fair Association for many years.
His passion in life was rodeo, and bare back riding is where he shined.
Dee lived life to the fullest and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He will now join his beloved "Doc" who he looked up to in life.
He is survived by his parents, Hugh and Louise Tolman of Deming, his son Brannon (Barbara) and granddaughter Taylor Tolman of Pueblo West, Colo., a brother, Ray (Cindy) Tolman of Deming and two sisters, Shelly Borde of Las Cruces and Leslie (Jake) Montroy of Pagosa Springs, Colo.
Dee is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Per his request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2010 in the Tolman Pavilion, located at the SWNMS Fairgrounds in Deming.

I was so blessed to have Dee in my life not just as my brother but as my friend. I will miss him more than words can say. He was so talented and I don't think he knew the word selfish. There won't be a day that goes by that I won't think of him. Rest in peace COWBOY.............

When I was on patrol I would always have time to stop and talk to Dee. He always had a car or project he was working on. He was great person to know and will miss him. My prayers to his family.

When I think of Dee, I remember the Starsky & Hutch car he had in high school.
