To: The Entire Anderson Family,

It has always been said in times like these "Earth has no sorry that heaven cannot heal". God will heal the hurt that you feel right now; however, the memories of your mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and confidant will live on in your hearts. May it comfort you to know that others are praying and thinking fondly of this very classy, warm hearted woman. As was stated today in the service, Mrs. Anderson never met a stranger and she always had a smile and hug for you.

May God strengthen you to face tomorrow, because He holds your tomorrow in His loving hands.

Prayerfully,
Bishop John & Pastor Theresa Crocker & Faith, Hope & Charity Worship Center

January 24, 2014

I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Ms. Juliet Anderson. Not even two weeks ago my husband and I were talking about her. I said, I need to call her. Sadly, I never did. I will not beat myself up about it, because I know she wouldn't want me to.

I worked for Ms. Anderson from age 21-23 at Metropolitan. I can't even call it working for Ms. Anderson. I was in an internship program I would say (of life). She mentored me in all things. She introduced me to many community organizations and I accompanied her to events such as the Urban League Gala. Her dedication to the community is where I full-heartedly believe I picked up this passion. Her dedication was undeniable. She would help anyone who wanted help. I saw many people cycle through those doors who always got a hand-up, and not a hand-out. The Lord knows who to place in your path. Now I bullied my way to getting this job, so I thought. But now reflecting, it was God's plan. I want to thank her for the foundation, she helped lay for me.

I remember she was going on a cruise. I said...ooohhhh I want to go. She laughed and said... girl you too young to be talking about a cruise. You have to wait until you are like 40. Funny thing, I really didn't go on a cruise until I was 40. Now that I think of it, that may have been her way of saying... listen I write your paychecks, you can't afford a cruise. Ms. Anderson would always find a tactful way to say things if she felt it may hurt your feelings. But if she had to keep repeating advice or keep helping you out of stuff, the gloves would come off. I'm babbling... Sorry.

My prayers go out to the family. I pray for peace and comfort. Thank you for sharing her with the Rochester Community.

Ms. Anderson, until we meet again My Friend. With all my love.

Toni Lomax

January 24, 2014

Poncho, Gerald, and all the Anderson family, I will truly miss Juliet. I've know her all my life, and she was always such a beautiful and caring person. When I was young I would just sit and listen to her stories and be truly facinated, and she would always make me laugh. My prayers are with all of you. Take comfort in knowing she is in a much better place, but will always be watching over you.

Prayers going up for the Anderson Family. I know how you feel, because I lost my Mother too. Losing your Mother is one of the most difficult things you will go through in your life. Just know this. When GOD brings you to something he will get you THROUGH IT. HOLD YOUR HEADS UP, don't try to keep your feelings in. Let it out, and you will feel better. It's going to take you a while to get through this. But keep your faith in GOD. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about my Mother, but each day you will get stronger and stronger and begin to think about the good days you had with your Mother.Unless you have lost your Mother you don't have a clue how this family is feeling. So all we can do for this family is keep them up lifted In PRAYER AND GOD WILL DO THE REST.
