A memorial service for former Colorado state historian David F. Halaas, who died August 14, will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, in Quebec Place chapel at Fairmount Cemetery, 430 S. Quebec St. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Crazy Dog Society, c/o Otto Braided Hair, P.O. Box 661, Lame Deer, MT 59043.
