Paige Birgfeld Obituary
1973 - 2007
Born April 27, 1973, disappeared from the Grand Junction area in June, 2007. There has since been a large scale police homicide investigation as well as a massive search to find her that was conducted by local area citizens. On March 5, 2012, she was found. A devoted mother was taken from her three children, Jess, Taft and "Trigger". They were the center of the world to her and her to them. She loved to be with her large extended family and we all loved her right back. Paige always had an optimistic outlook. When she smiled, she was radiant to a degree that made the sun jealous. She grew up, went to high school and worked in Denver until moving to Grand Junction in 1999. She also attended the University of Florida. Paige leaves behind her children, her parents, Suzanne and Frank from Centennial, her brother, Craig and his wife, Cally, and their three children in Seattle, and both of her grandmothers and aunts, uncles, and cousins in Virginia, Michigan, Georgia, Florida and Texas.
We will say goodbye to Paige on Saturday, April 28th at 2 o'clock pm at the auditorium of Grand Junction High School. All are invited to attend who cared for Paige.

I knew Paige briefly in high school, we had friends in common. She was a beautiful girl, very kind and funny. It was joyful just to be around her. I am happy to see that she got to be a mom.
My deepest sympathy to the friends and family, and especially her children.

Early in May 2007, my son and I had the pleasure of meeting Paige and the children on the beaches of Atlantis in the Bahamas on a trip we had earned with The Pampered Chef. The love and devotion between her and her children was very evident. She sat and chatted with us as if we had known her forever while the children played on the beach and Trigger slept in her arms. We pray for God's peace and continued strength for your entire family.

Looking forward to seeing you all again, even under such sad circumstances.
