Bob was one of the most interesting and special men that I have ever met. His legacy is forever in the special deeds he did for the community. May he rest in peace!

35 years ago as a young man I was the United Jewish Appeal rep in the Northwest for many years. Although Colorado was not one of the states I was responsible for, I would often contact Bob for assistance.
He NEVER was too busy to either take my desparTe calls or to jump on a plane to fly to Seattle or Portland to save me.
We often traveled together while escorting Itzchak Rabin or Moshe Daya in the Nortwest.
I very much remember sitting at a hotel in Portland befor Itzchack Rabin was to make a speech to the Portland Jewish Community.
After the meal, I reached for my back pocket to get out my wallet to pay for the meal.
Out of nowhere, this large strong hand grabbed my hand and stopped me from taking out my wallet. I was surprised and when I looked up, it was Bob's hand. He looked at this young kid awho was a long way from his Los Angeles home working for Israel and said, When you are with me, you never ever reach for your wallet
Today I am still in Los Angeles and am 66 years old.
Bob helped the UJA raise millions of dollars in my area of responsibility alone!
I will never forget you Bob and have told this story about the mensch you ARE a hundred times.
Thank you Bob

Robyn and family,
We are so sorry about Bob's passing. What a great man and friend. The eulogies at his funeral service were profound and insightful... Giving those who knew and love Bob a sense of his funny, loving, compassionate and caring parts of his life, which he led with great humility and dignity. As a West High School graduate, he never forgot his community, his friends and great times that got him started. It was nice to learn more about his great role models his parents, Max and Rose. Thank you Bob for all the support you gave my wife when she ran for office and thank you my buddy for never forgetting all your friends from the class of 1947. I'm so glad that we celebrated our 70th class reunion two years early as you urged us to do. Truly enjoyed that day of celebration and catching up. God bless you my friend and may your soul rest in peace, we believe you will, because you have led and left so many great projects and accomplishments on this earth. Affectionately, Ben and Fran Coleman
