Edwin Friedman Obituary
Friedman, Edwin H. Well known local artist Edwin Friedman passed away June 5, 2011. He is survived by his son, Joesph Friedman, grandson Holden Friedman, Crystal Monaco, brother Fred Friedman, and Rochelle Harringer. He is also survived by many friends and will be missed dearly. Have fun looking at us through a glass onion, Eddy. There will be no services.

We met Ed through a mutual friend a number of years ago. We lost contact and just heard the news. We have several of Ed's paintings and will continue to enjoy his presence through his art. Our condolences to his family.

Wow, i was driving by Speer and Pennsylvania today and saw a sign for an estate sale. I saw the address 420 Penn and thought, I think that is Eddy's address. I loved Eddy's editorials on just about any subject. The world will miss Eddy - he was a good man, a good friend, a good artist! My best to his family and friends!

I really enjoyed knowing you Eddy over the past many years, first as a family friend, and then more personally as a great neighbor. I loved spending time talking with you Eddy, trading stories and getting to know you. I’m so saddened by your passing, I will really miss you.
