I just had the notion to look up Harold today, not expecting to this posting. I worked with Harold back in the mid-90's and had a friendship that was short lived due to a move, but the last time I saw him he was in a new 1998 Cadillac and happier than a lark. Best to his family always.

Harold and I went to school together from kindergarten at Steele Elementary through Byers Jr. Hi. and South High School. He lived in on So. Corona St. and we lived on So. Downing St. His mother was our Den Mother when we were in Cub Scout Pack 5. She was a very gracious woman and Harold took after her. I didn't see much of Harold after high school. We went our separate ways in the military and to college. My contact with him was later when we would see each other at class reunions and occasionally with the "49 lunch bunch. He was a good and talented man. May he rest in peace!

Harold was a remarkable, always faithful man of God. I can't imagine hearing an unkind word from him though he faced struggles of many kinds. I would describe Harold as a complete man who manifested Gal. 5:22-23 in his everyday life. I picture him in the arms of his Lord & Savior and living in a heavenly mansion.

I worked for Harold in the early 80's. He was very fair, understanding and a good friend. He will be missed. He can now join his two sons and Diana.

Feeling sad to lose such a great man. He was the most kind person and a true gentleman. Amazingly eloquent and a fabulous human being. Not many of his caliber in this world. He will be missed.
