May God, Our Heavenly Father, bless you, and allow His angels to constantly surround you, comfort you, and whisper His deep love to you for raising this beautiful young woman Annabelle.
Many of us join in mourning with you having lost dear ones at this time.
I pray the powers of Heaven dwell with you and your family until the sure day comes when we will all meet again, never to part.

Words cannot express our Families deepest sorrow for the loss of your daughter Annabelle. Our son Josh (Elder Beharrell) mentioned Annabelle whilst giving a Sacrament talk yesterday and expressed his gratitude for her helping him get through the MTC when he was struggling. Sister Nielsen was and always will be a "Helping Angel" and showed Josh true Christlike Love and Compassion during his time at the MTC and whilst in the Swiss Alpine German Speaking Mission. He said she was one of his best friends and we thank her for it. From the Beharrell's in the United Kingdom. xxx

Your mission will continue here in Switzerland because of the seeds you planted via the news articles and on the other side of the veil. Look up Dean Baxter, a former mission president who, like you, has endless charisma, love for life and every soul, as well as sparkling blue eyes so like yours. I love your dancing video in the forest, Sister Nielsen, and have shared it with many. Hope you don’t mind! PS Sister Preston is going to be fine

I do not know Annabelle, but the I cannot help but feel her spirit through her beautiful photo. I am acquainted with Steen, through my niece Sami. Steen is such a fun, kind, and intelligent young man. I feel it a pleasure to know him, and can only imagine Annabelle to of such great character also. My heart breaks for your family. If I could do anything to make it better, I gladly would. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I will never forget this amazing young woman that I never knew. Sincerely, Janice Hanson

My cousin, Sister Preston, was her companion and with her at the time of her death. As an extended family we have prayed for Sister Nielsen, her family, and for the missionaries in her mission. We’ve talked with reverence of this great loss and pray for continued strength and peace for her family.
I am touched by Elder Moench’s comments here.

Annabelle was such a light. I met her on many occasions, because she was friends with my son, Caleb Brown, and nephew, Nate Covey. The last time I spoke with her was at a soccer game. She was there to watch her brother, Steen, and I was there to watch my son, Spencer. This was just before she left on her mission. We talked about the beautiful area she was about to fly to and how excited she was to be there. She was excited about learning and speaking the German language. In short, she just glowed, and I felt a warmth and a light from her, which I could see in her eyes and feel in her being. She was so young and beautiful. She was calm and centered. She was kind and loving as our Savior is. I can imagine Him welcoming her and embracing her. I love the Nielsen family dearly. I offer my deepest love, support, and prayers at this time, especially for my dear friend, Lynell, and Spencer's friend, Steen. The Brown family loves you.

As Europe Area Mental Health Advisor to the Alpine German-speaking Mission it was/is my calling along with counselors Elder David Perry and Sister Tamara Thayne to provide solace and grief counseling to former companions and colleagues of Sister Nielsen, especially five missionary hikers from four different countries who accompanied and delighted in their association with her. Among them there were so many great and tender memories and such words of admiration and appreciation for this incredible companion. They were brave and heroic in their efforts to keep her on this earth. When they realized there was a different mission for her, they described with such reverence the ethereal scene of Sister Nielsen wrapped in white on a stretcher, two dedicated and kind yet professional rescuers strapped on either side, all tethered by cable to the helicopter that ascended with her into the blue fall sky against the backdrop of snow-covered Alps as if all their love and two angels were accompanying her upward into the hand of God. President and Sister Naatjes were such a comfort in their making the incomprehensible understandable for over 120 missionaries who had come face to face with mortality. Thank you for raising such a remarkable daughter and lending her to the Lord and the Mission before this sudden transfer to her Heavenly Home. Peace be with you.

Sister Annabelle Nielsen served in the same mission as my son (Elder Adam Sinclair) , who is currently serving in Munich. He served in Interlaken and regulary went on hiking trails, which were wonderful. The same could have happened to my son and he wrote to me of Sister Nielsen "Its incredibly sad" and "She was one of the nicest people you could ever know". The photo is of Interlaken ward.

I wish I had known her. I know her loss is painful to you and pray you will feel peace and comfort. I too served as a sister missionary in Switzerland; the members will remember her fondly for many years and be grateful for her service.
A loving sister in the gospel.

Beautiful, lovely young woman! So very sorry for your terrible loss and pain. Cling to the Savior; He will attend to each of you as you plead for his divine help. This, I know. Many will be thinking of you and praying for you during this time of grief and always, from now on.
