After five weeks and one day Adam Hunt, who fought harder than anyone could ever imagine, joined his little sister Amanda after a major heart attack. He left fighting June 21st, 2002. He was doing what he loved best, getting ready for football season. The doctors said his heart was too large, but all his family and friends know that his chest was just too small. He was born November 24, 1984. He was his mom's best pal and his big sisters best friend in the whole world. He lived in Germany, American Fork and Salt Lake City. He loved his little sister Emily dearly and was so proud of his little brother Spencer. His little sister Amanda passed away when he was four years old. We know that he is now teaching her all the basics of football, just as he did for his family, especially his mom who never understood why the lineman would want to chase after him when he had the ball. He attended Shelly and Emerson Elementary Schools, Clayton Jr. High and was getting ready to start his senior year at East High School. He loved school and seminary. When he missed class he was always at the seminary building talking about missionary stories and scriptures. He loved his friends dearly. He loved to go four wheeling, to Nutty Putty Caves and movies with them. He loved football and was a proud BYU Cougar fan. He has played since he was nine years old. He was excited to be a part of the team, and would play any position just to be in the game. He got his letterman's jacket in football last year. He spent countless hours teaching Spencer football before Spencer was very big. They made quite the team. He even put up with his mom cheering at all the games. He loved his coaches even during summer workouts. He leaves for a little while his sisters Charlene and Emily and brother Spencer; his very proud father Jeffrey Hunt and his best friend, his mom Stephanie Hunt; grandparents Kay (Jodie) Hunt, Linda Hunt, Gary and O'Leah Peay, whom he adored; uncles Andrew Hunt, Scott (Jana) Peay, Kevin (Shelley) Peay, Christian (Margo) Peay, Todd (Florence) Peay; and aunts Amy (Ron) Abrams and Stacy Peay, plus many cousins, who knew Adam was the most fun. He was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was serving as a priest in the LeGrand Ward. With the help of his friends, he was able to turn in his Eagle Scout project while he was a patient at primary children's hospital, which would make Steve Barlow proud. He worked very hard at everything in life. His spirit is huge. His family wishes to thank the coaches who started CPR and the medics who helped, and all the countless Drs. and nurses at the U of U ICU and Primary Children's Hospital who worked so hard to save his life. We are grateful. His mom and dad still know he has more courage, fight and heart than anyone else and pray that they can do the same. I love you pal---Mom Funeral services will be held Monday, June 24, 2002 at 12:00 noon, at the LeGrand Ward, 1078 S. McClelland Street (1040 E.)
