To the Johnson Family: On behalf of the William Orluske family we send our heartfelt condolences for the loss of your mother. Unfortunately our parents, Bill and Jean both passed away last year but we all remember going to your home in Oxnard and the love that our parents had for yours. May you all find comfort knowing that your mother is in the arms of the Lord.

Chad just told us of your mom's death and you and your family are in our thoughts at this time. She was the organist at the MTC when Kyle left on his mission. From everything we have heard about her, she was a great and noble lady.

We are saddened by the passing of your precious mother and grandmother. As a freshman at BYU, I met Alan Johnson (AJ--son, brother, uncle) and we roomed together in Deseret Towers. I had the opportunity to work with your parents at the MTC for many years. They are both very dear to me. They were such a support to me when my husband was diagnosed with cancer. I will always treasure our last Brach President's Christmas party where you mother was honored. She was a grand lady. I am very thankful our lives crossed. I can only imagine the wonderful reunion they had!

I always felt so welcome and loved by grandma Johnson. Whenever I would go and visit she always remembered me and let me know she cared who I was and what I was doing with my life. I learned so much from her about loving unconditionally and service. I hope to apply what I learned from her to others I meet. I am thankful for the time I had to meet her and feel of her loving spirit. I am glad that the Johnson Family (orva and paul) let me have the opportunity to meet such a wonderful daughter of God and great example of a sister in Christ. I am happy for her to be back with 'big bud'.

There's no way to put our deepest feelings in a guest book. We met as musicians. Whenever I sang and she played for me in this area, she always said we had been together since "ought-5 at BYU!" She gave of her musical talents so freely, and usually didn't need music to look at after seeing it once; she had already memorized it. We loved the whole family and thought we couldn't stand it when they moved to Utah, our sense of loss was so strong! When she leaves us this time, we realize it is a good loss, but it is still hard. What a special, special woman she was (and is!).

We don't think we have ever known a more gracious lady than Byrdenne. She was so sweet and kind to everyone. Everyone was in awe of her musical talent, but her sweet spirit left us with good feelings whenever we were around her. It is nice to think, now that she is no longer suffering, of the glorious reunions she has been having. Our best to all of your family. Jack and Marion Jones

Dear Family:

One of the great joys of Sister Boyter and my life was the opportunity to serve at the Provo MTC and to enjoy the wonderful music which your mother supplied with such love and meaning. When I think of the marvelous music the missionaries had the opportunity to enjoy both in hearing and singing, I can tell you that it made them better missionaries in spirit and in deed. We will miss your sweet mom, but know she is now able to enjoy the love and companionship of your dear father. Please know of our love and understanding at this time of seperation.

Love to you
