Dear Family of Elder Chad Wayman,
We read about your wonderful young son & want you to know that others care & are praying for all of your family. We have a son on a mission our youngest) & also have experienced many, many miscarriages; & we know that we will all be "Together Forever" with Heavenly Father's Plan! Dear Jodie and Family…I am truly sorry to hear about your loss. My sincere condolences go out to you and your family. I didn’t know Chad, but I can tell he is a great person and an awesome missionary. I am sure he is enjoying the work on the other side of the veil. Jodie, you are obviously a good mother! I am so sorry for your loss. I went to school with Chad, and had the opportunity to hang out with him. I remember that radiant smile and his laugh. He was so kind and loving to everybody.
You leave behind so many people who love and miss you Chad. But we all know you are in a better place and will be looking down upon us from the Heavens. We have our memories in which we will all cherish until we see you again.

Our condolences to the Wayman and Glover families. We will miss Chad so much! His letters from South Africa were always so happy and uplifting. He loved what he was doing and who he was doing it for. Austin and Brad will miss him the most as they went to school with him and hung out with him. Elder Russell (Brad) sends his love from Australia. Chad was a great example to all and we pray you will be comforted and find peace at this time.

Dear Wayman family, I am a friend of Arlene and Robert, Jodi and Frank and I am so very saddened by your loss of such an obvious sweet and valiant young man. My son passed at age 18. He came to me after and said "mom, if you could see the whole picture you would say, "this is ok." He also told me how very happy he was there." how our hearts ache along side yours for the loss of your beautiful son. It is inexplicably painful to lose a child, we know, and we pray that the comforter will carry you in the weeks, months and years ahead as you adjust to this temporary seperation from him. Dear Kevin and Jody,
I am sorry to hear of your loss. Chad was a wonderful boy, my memories of him are when we went to Nickies dance competition and I had made Chad a Chocolate birthday cake. We went to Pizza Hut after the competition. We were all laughing because Chad had chocolate frosting on his ears and we couldn't figure out how he got chocolate on his ears. He was about eight years old.
You both should be so proud of the son you raised. My heart goes out to you.

We want to tell you how very sorry we are. What a great young man your Chad was. He was taken home to his Father in Heaven while he was doing the Lord's work. He still is. We express sympathy for your loss but, we know the Plan of Salvation makes these terrible things less painful.
We work everyday with wonderful young Elders here in the mission field. We see their dedication and the love they have for the Lord and their fellow men. Time will lessen the pain but, not the wonderful memories you will always have in your hearts for Chad.

We didn't know Elder Wayman or your family but were saddened by his loss. Parents don't plan on losing their children and the sweet, poignant goodbye to departing missionary is not seen as an earthly farewell. Your son/brother sounds like a remarkable young man who did much living in 21 short years. He will always be close by and no doubt will continue to touch the lives of many people. We hope you find much peace and comfort.
