Ned was born November 15th, 1935 in North Platte Nebraska to Archie Vernon Combs and Beama Bryan. He married Joan Larsen January 26th, 1955 in the Salt Lake Temple. Ned was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many capacities in the church including Bishop of the Holladay 6th Ward where he was adored by the youth he served. He later served as Stake President of the Olympus Stake and currently as Stake Patriarch. Ned spent many years as a Temple worker, recorder and sealer in the Salt Lake Temple. He loved all of his callings but sealing families for eternity brought him the greatest joy. He loved all those he served with. He also worked for Honda of Salt Lake and loved to ride motorcycles in his younger days.
